WHAT WOMEN ARE SAYING…
The book was amazing. I read the book on my spring break in one day. I could not put it down. Every chapter spoke to right where I am. I will be 50 on July 3rd. I spoke with you when you came to the school. I purchased 3 books. I want every woman I know to read this. Living my best me helped me to refocus on somethings God spoke to me two years ago to do. I would like to purchase a few more books before mothers day. So I will be visiting your church soon. Look forward to speaking with you more. "Great Book" Looking for the next work.

I bought your book and met you briefly at the Women’s Expo at CCBC. I mentioned I just gave my life to Christ on Ash Wednesday. Although I have known God all my life, was extremely active in church ministries over the past 5 years, I was a lost child. Your book has entered my life at the right time. I am 10 days into a journey of discovering myself, getting closer to God and trying to find peace and happiness from within. After reading the first chapter, I know God sent me to your table to give me a guide to leap forward. After listening to the tape this morning (thanks for giving me a copy) I know that my journey of self discovery will be guided using your words and directions. Thanks so much.

Hi Iris,
Well I finally finished reading your book.
What a BLESSING! Once I picked it up and said to myself" I'm not going to put it down until I'm finished!" I saw myself in not one, not some, but ALL of the chapters. At first I said let me skim through it. But once I started reading, I mean really reading; I didn't want to. Some of the chapters had me crying, but the kind of crying that was much needed for cleansing and Spiritual healing. Mirror, Mirror on the Wall Chapter 4 hit home the most. It was like, as I read I saw my face on the pages! I always hated mirrors. (The ones that showed your whole body) Oh I can't leave out chapter 5 these two chapters go hand in hand. Thank you Iris for the Self Reflections part at the end of each chapter. Now moving on if I take all of this and just like in James 2:22-25 forget or not even apply it to my life, I will deceive myself. I hate being deceived. Iris I will continue to keep you and you’re Family in my prayers. May the Lord continue to use you to be a Blessing to His people. (Especially! His Women!)

Your book, "Living the Best Me Beyond the Crazy You" was a joy to read. The book served as confirmation for me. It showed me that there are things in my life that I am no longer in bondage to, others that I really need to revisit, and others that I just need to stop being in denial about. Thanks for being obedient to the urging of the Lord to write this book. I have not only changed the dial on the channel, but, I have completely changed the entire medium because I do intend to Live the Best Me so I can be fit for my Masters use. I will pray that you will meet each obstacle, challenge, hurdle, etc. with Thanksgiving. Had it not been for your obedience, I would not have been blessed.
Praise God,

Bless the Lord,
I just had to just drop everything and thank you for writing such an inspiring, funny, and beautifully transparent book! What a blessing it was to finally sit down and finish reading it. (I'd just decided over my Christmas break from work to finish reading it; I knew it would be refreshingly edifying). It was much like sitting down in a room with you, one on one, and hearing you share what was on your heart and mind.
I found myself laughing out loud in the "Me on a Budget..Please" chapter, and doing some deeper self evaluation after reading chapter 3 about forgiveness. (Some issues can run so deeply, they take a while and many sermons and prayers to finally "put to bed." They can be an ongoing battle). There was so much throughout Living the Best Me.. to which I (and I'm sure many, many others) could relate.
The content of chapters 1, 3, 5, and 8 especially resonated! I couldn't put it down. I even did the pondering and reflecting sections in..well in two sittings. Keep on doing what you are doing! It is truly a needed ministry. It's a real delight and an oasis of encouragement for us to have a Titus 2 woman in our midst, sharing in published form, no less, what our Lord is doing and has done in her life! God bless you.
Love, in Christ,

There are many things I have experienced in Christ and have known His Victory, but the area of weight control I have yet to realize my potential. I understand now that I am not making Mistakes, but I have been given the Power of Choice by God Himself I Now Know I Can Choose ( 2 Peter 1:30) In my quest to give the Lord and others my best , I have neglected some of my needs thinking I would catch up on me later, but many times later never came. Turning 50 was an epiphany for me to take inventory of my life and Change is inevitable and welcomed. I now Know It is not being selfish to Take Care of Me Too and maybe First this time , so that I can be Better than Before.
Truly, My Spirit has been Renewed, and my Mind is Refreshed, and I Look forward again in Expectation and Anticipation to see What My Lord Has In store
Iris, Continue to Write ... You Are A Well , Who's Living Water Will Never Run Out... because your Source is The Eternal One. Many are Thirsty and just need a Sip!
I Thank God for you, and pray that All That He Has Prepared to Bless You With that you will Receive and More!!!!!!!!
God Bless,

Provoking book!! It encouraged me to examine where I am in my walk with the Lord. Iris Cockrell talks about a broad range of meaningful topics/issues, i.e., changing your thought life or pattern of thinking, making better choices, being still and listening for God’s voice--direction from God’s Word (the Bible) for your life, forgiving yourself and others, self esteem, dieting/exercise, humility, lowliness, sharing/giving, budgeting, and even taking time for yourself.
________
Living the Best Me Beyond the Crazy You helps me to see the importance and way to grow in my walk with the Lord from inside out. Not only is this book a must read but it is a book that I will reread/revisit, review and reflect. As I apply what is being shared and/or taught, the result is a changed life!!! Additionally, I am looking forward to the next book!!
